Bourbon BBQ Chicken Pizza

You can obviously make your own pizza dough from scratch. For ease we cheat a little by using these recommended pre-prepared pizza crusts. These flavors take pizza to a new level of dynamic flavors. The bourbon kicks up the hickory BBQ sauce. The ginger does the same adding a surprise extra tang, while the goat’s cheese mellows your taste buds with a creamy finish complemented by the herbaceous hint from the cilantro.

½ chicken breast
¼ cup BBQ sauce
2 Tbsp. bourbon
2 tsp. fresh ginger, grated
2 tsp. garlic, finely chopped
1 pizza crust (see note)
2 Tbsp. goat's cheese
6 asparagus spears

2 tsp. cilantro, finely chopped

Preheat oven to 425°F.

Grill chicken on BBQ grill and chop into ¼ pieces. Mix BBQ sauce with Bourbon. Combine garlic, ginger, BBQ bourbon mixture and spread evenly over pizza. Sprinkle chicken over pizza - place asparagus spears like spokes of a wheel and crumble goat's cheese evenly.

Place in middle rack and cook 10-12 minutes or until crispy.

Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve.

Cook's Note: If feeling lazy use Boboli or Mama Mia's thin crust or buy fresh dough from your favorite grocery store.
