For those of you who have had the good fortune to visit Thailand as I have, but live in Bentonville, Arkansas, you're in luck Thai delicious is at your doorstep.
Thai Basil is authentic to the first degree. Of course, appetizers are in abundances like Spring rolls, shrimp tempura, chicken satay, and crispy squid. Entrees come in all sorts of stir frys from vegetarian to pepper steak and seafood. Rice noodle dishes and an endless array of genuine Thai Curries in red, yellow and green sauces. Recently introduced to me by a foodie-friend who said "the Chicken Panang Curry is to die for" I had to try it and OMG was he right. Along with the Gang Dang Red Curry w/beef and the Gai Pad Med Ma-Muang - I was immediately transported back in time and a round the world back to Bangkok & Koh Samui.
You choose the heat degree from 1-5. Either you are a fan of curry in general or not or perhaps afraid of them being too spicy, that's why the heat index lets you work you way up to the seasoning that's just right. I don't think anything on the menu will disappoint. Everything they serve is cooked fresh to order, not pre-cooked using only the freshest ingredients. Kids eat FREE during dinner and all weekend long. Just another example of their beautiful culture. So thank you Thai Basil, for bringing the wonderful delicacies of your country to ours.
