Dinner Party

Charles & Linda love to cook and entertain for close and new found friends from around the world. Often guests say "you should open a restaurant." As flattered as they are, they prefer this new found private dinner party concept that people seem to enjoy.

They love to design tantalizing menus. It is said 'we eat with our eyes' so they plan each menu with special attention to fresh-locally sourced ingredients based on flavor, color, and texture. Once they are satisfied with the menu and plating ideas, they visualize and focus on creating the most attractive ambiance with table settings, music, and lighting.

When living in Mexico and Costa Rica they first created this idea now called the DINNER PARTY which was born out of their love for entertaining and their fantasy of opening their own restaurant. These gatherings have taken place in their various residence's in Mexico, Costa Rica and back home in the US. Their first Dinner Party had people from Switzerland, France, Germany, Spain, and England, all of whom didn't speak each other's languages, but shared in good food, wine and the international language of laughter.

Charles & Linda host as few as two and up to ten dinner guests that actually dine with their hosts, enjoying cocktails and hors-d'oeuvres and a 3-7 course dinner with wine paired to compliment the menu. The evening usually ends with coffee and liqueurs and new friendships, that now stretch around the globe. All at a prix fixe, hosted by Charles & Linda.
